Originally launched in 2019 as Atypical Earrings, our brand was founded on the idea of creating pieces that stand apart—designs that feel personal, artistic, and anything but ordinary. After a break, we re-launched in September 2024, staying true to that original mission while evolving into something even more refined.

Each piece is handcrafted by Joanna, the creative force behind Clay & Curio. From sculpting and painting to social media and branding, she brings every detail to life. Behind the scenes, her husband is the business mind—handling pricing, finances, and standing beside her at markets. Together, we balance artistry and strategy, passion and purpose.
